Chase Air is selling tickets for the new Chase Ultimate Rewards® travel credit card, which is the third card that the airline plans to release to consumers this year.
The credit card has an annual fee of $75 and can be used for a wide range of airline-related purchases, including Delta SkyMiles and Air Canada tickets, United Airlines, United Express, and Alaska Airlines.
To get a free credit card with the Chase Ultimate Credit Card, users must have a valid credit card or be approved for a Chase Ultimate credit card.
The card is available to new and existing Chase Ultimate members who meet certain eligibility criteria.
Chase Ultimate rewards are issued by Chase, and it’s unclear how many members the company will be able to reach with the credit card before the program goes live.
Chase says it plans to roll out the card on July 1.
For now, Chase Ultimate cards will only be available through its online store and on Chase mobile apps.
Chase’s Ultimate Rewards credit card offers a number of perks for cardmembers.
First, it can be applied toward purchases at participating retailers, which includes purchases made online at Chase.com.
Second, the card will earn a $25 statement credit, and a $50 gift card after $500 in spending in the first year.
This $25 gift card can be redeemed for flights, hotels, and other travel purchases, as well as up to $1,000 in travel credit, if the card is opened in the same year.
Third, Chase offers Chase Ultimate loyalty points, which are points earned for every eligible purchase.
The points can be spent on Chase.ca, Chase.co.uk, Chase ATM, Chase Pay, Chase Direct Bank, Chase Ink+ card, and Chase Prepaid Card.
Fourth, Chase’s annual fee is $75.
The Chase Ultimate card will be available for purchase July 1 for $75 per cardmember and will be valid for one year from the date of issue.
Chase also offers a $1 annual fee.
Chase is currently working on a $100 bonus credit card for cardholders who open the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve card accounts in the coming months.
