Scatair, the leading scat ticket provider in the Middle East, announced that it is launching an AirPakistan ticketing service in the country on December 16, 2016.
ScatAir is also the official scat service provider for the UAE.
The new AirPAKistan service will allow customers to book flights and stay at Scat Airport, which is the third largest in the UAE, and the largest airport in the Gulf of Oman.
“It’s been a long time coming, but we are excited to bring our new AirPakistan service to Scratistan,” Scat Airways Chief Executive Officer Saad Al-Qasim told the Press Trust of India (PTI).
“The fact that the service is available to the public for free has been the main reason behind us launching this service.
We have been in negotiations with several airlines, but in the end we felt that the best option was to take the service to the masses,” he added.
AirPakistani tickets will be priced at $1,600 for a single journey, $2.50 for a group and $4 for a family.
This is the first time in the region that Scat is offering air travel to Scats people, who have faced discrimination since being given permission to travel to the country in 2012.
For its part, Scat said it is proud of the company’s work in helping empower women and minorities in the MENA region.
In 2016, Scats government said that women accounted for 13% of its workforce, and of its citizens in the workforce, women make up over 90% of the population.
Scat Airways said that this is just the beginning, and it will continue to work to improve the lives of women and their families in the Arabian Gulf region.
