A new air travel booking service, Air Berlin, aims to give people a way to get real-life air tickets to the capital of Germany, Berlin, with a price tag of around $100.
Air Berlin is the brainchild of Berlin-based artist Jodie Mccormack, who is looking to make Berlin an affordable, easy-to-use way to travel to the German capital.
Mccormick, who has worked with the Berlin office of Airbnb, created Air Berlin in 2017 to offer visitors to the city an easy way to book flights to and from their chosen destination in a timely manner.
Air Berlin, on the other hand, will offer travelers the option to book the trip directly through Air Berlin or to Air Berlin Premium, with an option to pay by debit card, credit card, PayPal or a third-party payment system.MCCormack says the service will help visitors to Berlin, which she says is becoming increasingly unaffordable for many of its citizens.
“The way it works is you get an email and you pick a date, and they send you a booking link,” Mccombess says.
“You just pick the date and the next day they send out an email with the booking link.”
“And then you can actually go to the airport and fly there and pay by credit card or PayPal.
You just pick one option and they’ll send you another link that you can click on.”
Mccombessa said that the service was currently available only to visitors to a single city in Germany, which is Berlin, and is a new model for how to book air travel.
She said Air Berlin was the first of its kind in Europe, and would only be expanded as the company matures.
Mixed messages for BerlinersAir Berlin has already received praise from both locals and tourists, who have praised the service for its quick response time and ease of use.
A spokeswoman for Air Berlin told ABC News that while the service is currently available to visitors from all parts of the world, it is in its early stages of growth and has yet to launch to the general public.
In a statement, Air Germany said the company will soon launch Air Berlin for tourists in the US, Europe and Australia, adding that there will be a wider rollout to follow.
AirBerlin, which was launched by Mccommack in September 2017, has now received more than 6,000 inquiries from users worldwide, according to the company.
Miles Lutz, an Australian who lives in Berlin and has flown to Berlin on Air Berlin premium, says it’s a great service for those who want a quick way to go, but also those who are on a budget.
“I would definitely recommend it,” he said.
“It’s an option you don’t need to think about, but you can’t beat the price.
You can go to Paris or Barcelona, and it’s just so much cheaper.”
Lutz, who also flies to Berlin via Air Berlin and other carriers, said that he would use the service if the cost were not a barrier to travel.
“If it was cheaper than that, I would definitely use it,” Lutz said.
“And I think for many, the price would be a little bit too expensive.”
Air Berlin launched in Germany in June 2017, but has only been available to guests of the city of Berlin since September.
Air travel to and fro from Berlin has long been a challenge for locals.
Berlin is a relatively small city, with around 2.6 million people, but with the city’s population estimated to be around 25 million, it can be difficult to find an airport near your chosen destination.
In 2016, Berlin was ranked as the fifth most expensive city in the world for air travel, with air travel charges increasing by nearly 40 percent year-on-year.
Airbnb is a popular choice for travelers, and Air Berlin is also a member of the service, which has been around since 2008.
Air tickets and accommodations are often booked through Airbnb, which provides a way for hosts to book their properties online.
Air Berlin will also offer travelers a way through Airbnb to book accommodation.
In addition to the booking process, travelers will also be able to use Air Berlin to book hotel rooms.
Mills says that Air Berlin’s success is a sign of the times.
“It’s not just an air travel service, but it’s also a way of accessing and sharing information with the public,” she said.
Air Germany is currently looking for a new business partner, but a spokesperson for the company said that no decisions have been made yet.
