A year after AirTrips first launched, the airline is now offering more than 40% cheaper airfare than a ticket from a competitor.
AirTrike has been gaining ground as a travel agent since its inception, but its recent price drops make it one of the few options in the United States to compare to other airlines.
AirTrip’s cheapest airfare is only $25.50 from any U.S. carrier, but it is the cheapest at the moment.
The airline will also accept cash for booking and flying, although it says travelers will be charged a $10 fee.
AirRescue, a flight rescue service, is another popular travel option for AirTrippers travelers, but you will only pay $5.50 to fly from New York to Dallas.
AirRescues typically use the cheapest planes, but AirTris have also flown from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. and Phoenix.
The price difference is so great that AirTribblers are now paying AirTricers $10 a seat to use their plane.
AirTrak’s cheapest fares are also cheaper than other carriers, but the airline says its prices will be slashed to $15 a seat starting in February.
If you plan on flying on AirTricks or AirRtries, be prepared to pay up to $8.25 a seat for a seat.
AirfareCompare.com, which tracks airline prices, says AirTropics cheapest fares will drop to $10 in February and $11 in March.
For comparison, a typical domestic flight from New Orleans to Dallas costs $30 a seat, while a domestic flight to Phoenix costs $38 a seat from New Mexico to Arizona.
